So, what Makes a Great Logo?
(And what to pay)

When logo design prices range from 20 grand to a couple hundred bucks it's no wonder business owners are confused about the cost of a logo. What to pay lies somewhere in the middle and there are design firms that offer services for every price range. So, the question, besides price, is: "What's a good logo?"

For many business owners the simple answer is whatever floats their boat. However, a good logo must also be smart for your business from a marketing/communication standpoint. In that respect the key considerations are: 1) It must be simple. 2) It must look OK in black and white. And 3) It must look good small.

And most importantly: It must communicate your "brand essence." OK. So, what the heck does that mean? Some Follis examples...
