John Follis

President/CD, Follis Advertising / Big Idea Video

Selected one of New York's "12 Best" by the NY Ad Club John's award-winning work led to the founding of Follis&Verdi (later Follis/DeVito/Verdi) a Madison Ave agency that became New York's second most awarded in just four years. His successful campaigns have been featured in national press, a college textbook, and a Harvard Business case study.

John's current agency was one of the first online in '96. His "Marketing Show" podcast in '06 was also one of the first. And in 2013, to help businesses with their web video and marketing, John formed Big Idea Video.

As an industry thought leader John's been on CNBC and ABC and written for ADWEEK, Ad Age, and SmallBizTrends. As a requested speaker he's addressed The World Business Academy, New York Business Expo and Yale University. Additionally, he's taught at SVA, FIT and Parsons School of Design.

Perhaps most importantly, John's made time for public service helping dozens of causes for which he received honors at both The White House and The UN. The story behind that honored effort is told in this film.
